Hoi Puck,

Gefeliciteerd met de aankoop!!! Prachtige auto, ga je zeker geen spijt van krijgen. Tuurlijk zal ie z'n dingetjes hebben, gewoon ieder jaar weer wat doen. Zo ben ik al 4 jaar met m'n 250 bezig, erg leuke hobby. En ondertussen lekker rijden in een oude Benz!

Proficiat! Je automaat kan best wel eens te maken hebben met de centrale portiervergrendeling. Het eerste leuke klusje voor je: het complete vacuumsysteem van de auto nalopen. Dat kost over het algemeen alleen je tijd en je kunt er een hoop "problemen" mee oplossen. Succes ermee!

Hey Puck, proficiat!!

Erg mooi en vrij uniek exemplaar (en ik had al zo'n voorgevoel dat deze het zou gaan worden). Nu kan je je hobby volop gaan ontwikkelen en zoals Robin al zegt, de vacuumcheck. Hier op het forum is er genoeg over te vinden. De automaat werkt op vacuum dus laat dat deel even nakijken bij een specialist. Het kan vrij eenvoudig worden afgesteld naar soepeler schakelen mits het vacuumsysteem naar behoren functioneert. Maar al met al heb je zo te lezen alleen maar leuke kleine prutsklusjes voor de boeg.

De auto is een mooie (vakantie-)fotoshoot waard dus ik ben benieuwd!

Danku allen voor leuke berichten!

Vandaag ging ik hem ophalen, en hij rijdt lekker!! Al die 'mankementjes' moeten maar even wachten. Eerst genieten van de auto.

Ik geloof dat het in heel NL het geval was, maar hier heeft het zonnetje de hele dag goed geschenen. Een ideale situatie dus om de auto even door de wasstraat te rijden (en ook gelijk even kijken of ie lekt... wat ie alleen op 1 klein plekje doet bovenin het bestuurdersraam) en hem gigantisch te laten glimmen! Uitzuigen hoefde niet, want de vorige eigenaar was ook een liefhebber

Fotootje zal ik morgen even maken en hier plaatsen, alhoewel jullie hem natuurlijk wel al hebben gezien via de link.. :whistle:

Verder ook even kijken naar de instapschade aan de bestuurdersstoel, toch wel jammer.. Denk dat ik er maar een lapje stof, in uiteraard dezelfde kleur, overheen leg en die met naald en draad even vastzetten. Kan ie in ieder geval niet verder uitscheuren. Denk dat de rode velours niet heel makkelijk is om aan te komen aangezien ie niet echt vaak voorkomt?

Daarnaast controleren of alleen de radiofunctie kapot is, of ook de cassette-functie. Want als ik de knop omdraai om de radio aan te zetten hoor je wel de hele tijd zo'n typisch geluidje, een soort klein plofje. Hoop dat jullie snappen wat ik bedoel met die omschrijving.. haha

Die pullman stof is normaal gezien nog te krijgen hoor, zeker in Nederland. Er zijn firma's die deze nog leveren.

Ik heb jaren geleden voor mijn 280SE eens wat staaltjes laten overkomen uit Nederland, maar kan me spijtig genoeg niet meer herrinneren van welke firma....

Tja sterretje. Dat kan. Maar het zal het eerst en laatste bedrijfje niet zijn waarvan de website er nog is maar het bedrijfje inmiddels niet meer

Ik had die oude linkjes nog ergens in een mapje staan en heb ze dus gewoon geknipt en geplakt. Gecontroleerd heb ik ze niet.

Heb er nog meer gemaakt maar zit even behoorlijk te kl*t*n met het verkleinen van de afbeeldingen, ze zijn maar steeds te groot. :pinch:

Ga weer het een en ander verkleinen en dan volgt er meer!

Prachtige auto. Ik vind dat de slijtage aan de bestruurdersstoel echt meevalt. Heb al veel ergere exemplaren gezien!

Dat is idd de ABS. Zo heb ik ook een blok zitten in mijn W123-ambulance.

Mooie wagen heb je, proficiat en veel rijplezier.
Ik heb nl net dezelfde sedan, maar dan een 300D.

Hoi Puck,

Benzineverbruik kan wat worden terug gedrongen door een goede onderhoudsbeurt en de boel even afstellen. Echter zal je in de stad niet snel zuiniger dan 1 op 7 rijden, reken buiten de stad op zo'n 1 op 9. Ligt ook aan je rechtervoet natuurlijk

Een goede garage ten zuiden van A'dam is http://www.degruyterdejong.nl. Zij hebben erg veel ervaring met klassieke Benzen en hebben zelfs nog een originele testkast (vooral dat laatste is super!). Qua roest kun je het beste eerst die plek bij de raamsponning aanpakken, ook vooral om lekkage te voorkomen. Afwateringspunten van het schuifdak ook doorblazen of doorprikken ter voorkoming van roest.
